My main interests are in new technologies for learning and workplace task support, such as podcasting, games and simulations, blogs, wikis, other social networking and bookmarking sites, such as Facebook, delicious, and Twitter.

I currently work as a clinical lab scientist at a pharmaceutical company.

I worked with consulting company Christensen/Roberts Solutions for 8 years, creating elearning, performance support, and websites, and for 2 years I was Director of Emerging Technologies at Creative Concepts, a Marketing and PR firm specializing in social media such as blogging and podcasting. I also taught a course in Games and Simulations as an adjunct professor at the University of Bridgeport and Multimedia Interface Design at Southern Connecticut State University.

I have a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Southern Connecticut State University, and a B.S. in Biology.

I started out my working life as a medical technologist, working in hospital labs in Connecticut and New York.
